The aim of this programme is to analyse options for sustainable transformation and cross-sectoral optimisation of infrastructure systems in urban areas. The potential of this is investigated from technological and urban development perspectives. Current institutional constraints are also highlighted and recommended actions identified to develop the institutional framework.
