UrbanProduction.Ruhr is exploring the opportunities and limitations of inner-city material production. By this we mean urban industry, urban manufacture and repair facilities as well as urban agriculture, which fit into the city with a mix of uses. In two living labs, different approaches to promoting urban production are being tested in economically underdeveloped areas.
